Often the fishing has been great the first day of the season in the best sea-trout river in in Iceland named Tungulækur, but 300 fish the first three days is one of the best ever! Huge number of sea-trout are in the middle and lower part of the river and catches opening days 1 - 3 April where outstanding on the 3 - 4 rods fishing then. Prime time is in April and again in September till the river close again 20.October and we still have some vagancies for the excellent fall fishing we can offer to our clients and friends.

Here in Iceland we have been counting the days now. The darkest part of winter has passed and we actually have several hours of daylight. Which of course tells us that the new season is just around the corner. Only just over a month away in fact, as the first rivers open up as usual on the 1rst of April.
